Dark Renaissance Stockholm Unconference 2026
Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the term unconference. Let us explain.
An unconference is a participant-driven event, where the event schedule is co-created by the attendees based on what people want to offer and what people want to partake in. While most unconferences are scheduled out on the day of the event, we will do things a bit differently.
Dark Renaissance will facilitate communication and planning with participants before they arrive, allowing us to co-create the event based on participant initiative, while also having the benefit of foresight.
Now, pay attention here because this is the most important information you need to know to get involved.
The Process
When you register your interest in attending, you will be asked to join as a “host”, “presenter”, or “attendee”.
A host wants to provide a space for people to meet. This could be booking a dinner table, offering an Airbnb for a seminar, opening up your apartment for a mingle, or providing a space for a concert. As a host, you are responsible for the space, and you can decide what kind of event you want to host in your space, and set the conditions for entry.
A presenter wants to facilitate an experience, but does not have the adequate venue. This could be a lecture, discussion, musical performance, showcasing of art, or any kind of experience that can be offered to attendees. Presenters can work with hosts to determine conditions for entry.
An attendee wants to simply join the events.
Our registration period has opened for hosts and presenters, if you are interested in either (or both) of these roles, please fill out the form below. Dark Renaissance will act as a matchmaker for hosts and presenters to bring everyone together to co-create a mosaic of different pop up events and gatherings throughout Stockholm from Thursday evening August 27 to Sunday afternoon August 31.
