Dark Renaissance Stockholm Unconference 2026
Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the term unconference. Let us explain.
An unconference is a participant-driven event. There’s no predefined program; instead, the schedule is shaped by what people want to offer and what others want to experience.
Most unconferences are organized on the day itself. We’re doing it a bit differently.
Dark Renaissance begins the process before you arrive. We facilitate connections and planning in advance, so participants can co-create the event with intention, while still keeping the emergent co-creative process that defines an unconference.
Now, here’s how to get involved.
The Process
When you register your interest, you’ll choose one (or more) of three roles:
Host
You provide a space. This could mean booking a dinner table, offering your apartment for a gathering, hosting a seminar in an Airbnb, or opening a venue for a performance. You set the tone and conditions for what happens there.
Presenter
You offer an experience but don’t have a space. This could be a talk, discussion, performance, or showcase. We help match you with a host, and together you shape the event.
Attendee
You join what’s created.
Registration is now open for hosts and presenters.
Dark Renaissance will act as a matchmaker—connecting people to co-create a mosaic of pop-up gatherings across Stockholm, from Thursday evening, August 27 to Sunday afternoon, August 31.
